One of the most confusing things in writing is the use of punctuation, especially with brackets and quotation marks. Today, let’s focus on the usage of full stop with brackets.
The general rule for using full stop with bracket is:
Use a full stop inside the brackets, if the bracket contains a complete sentence, and
use the full stop outside of the brackets, if the bracket does not contain a complete sentence.
For example:
I need a drink because I am thirsty (and I am hungry too).
I need a drink because I am thirsty. (I am hungry too.)
However, you need not fear now that we are here. Just let your writing flow anyhow: why bother with strict punctuation rules when we can edit your scripts for you?
