Day 159: When Life Gets Wearisome…

Matt. 11:28-30 (NIV) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest…”

Prosperity. Fresh opportunities. Promotions and responsibilities that follow. The quest for more knowledge to stay relevant. The need for approval. Targets- met and unmet. Mistakes. Regrets. Rejections. Heart break. Personal struggles. Marital issues. The desire to belong and measure up. Pursuit of purpose. Good and ill health. etc. All in one and the same year?

Friends, life can be demanding indeed!

Then somewhere down the line, somebody somewhere gets disillusioned and discouraged if care is not taken!

Mark you, this has nothing to do with how well or badly he is doing!

So is anyone weary? Does anyone feel overwhelmed and heavy laden? Does someone need the strength to just hold on, move on and not give up?

Then it’s about time you turned to your Saviour, and cry out in the spirit, “Heal, save, refresh, revive, revamp me.”

Prayer:

Lord, it’s about that time when the demands of daily living are taking their tolls on me, and I feel so overwhelmed!

Therefore I turn to You Lord that Your grace takes over and Your strength might be my strength. Please heal, save, refresh, revive, revamp my life and restore my soul as I seek Your face. Amen.
