Talking about Love on our #WinningWithPeople series today, the major cause of crisis in relationships is unmet expectations stemming from people looking for others to fill up personal voids and make up for inadequacies in them which no man is equipped to fill. This exerts immense pressure on relationships and is a major cause of hurt and heartbreak.

Love is not about looking for someone to lean on. It’s more about a whole person giving freely without demanding anything in return!

For example, bad as we were, God still gave Jesus anyway- regardless of us or our inability to receive His gesture.

Also check out the Love Chapter i.e. 1Corinthians13. It’s all about giving! There’s no dependency on the object mentioned at all!

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
