Who then is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead or Trinity- the highest seat of authority, dominion and power in existence.
He is as much God as the Father and the Lord Jesus. And quite contrary to popular misconceptions about Him, the Holy Spirit is not a force or thing, but a Person who has a will, an intellect or mind-and emotions.
The first point we shall consider about the Holy Spirit is the fact that He is the One who implements the will of God.
While the Father has a will, and Jesus is the spoken word i.e. the order or instruction given to execute God’s will, it is the Holy Spirit who runs swiftly to bring the will and the word of instruction to pass.
The Holy Spirit is the One who acts out and fulfills the purpose of the Father on earth, in the Church and of course, in the life of the believer.
